Fibromyalgia Virus

Fibromyalgia Virus Symptoms

Possible Causes Of Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a symptom wherein you feel chronic pain in certain parts of your body; it is a muscular pain especially around the joints. There can also bfibromyalgia viruse centralized pain felt in the spinal chord, brain, neck shoulders etc. People with fibromyalgia generally complain of pain in the joints, but it actually is the muscles and the tendons around it that cause the pain. It can be excruciating sometimes and can be a continuous throbbing pain. People suffering from Fibromyalgia also show symptoms of depression, sleeplessness, irritable bowel syndrome, stress and many others which are caused due to the pain suffered by them.

Fibromyalgia patients are very sensitive to heat, light and sometimes touch. Their skin feels tender and they may feel the painful parts to be inflamed, but in reality there would be no swelling. Poor concentration and extreme mood swings are another symptom they might display. Usually women above 30 are affected by Fibromyalgia, but even children and men are sometimes affected. There is no known cure for fibromyalgia; however you can overcome this symptom over a period of time with natural cures like herbs and dietary supplements that help with the condition.

There no known specific cause for fibromyalgia. It is found that there is a deficiency of the brain nerve chemical serotonin in patients suffering from fibromyalgia and the pain nerve cells in the brain of such people is extra sensitive, elevating the pain levels in them. Fibromyalgia is still a relatively unknown syndrome, making it a very difficult illness to treat. This can be because the symptoms are varied and not all the tests and research concludes 1000 on anything specific, leaving the origins of fibromyalgia still unknown. Another reason for this lack of knowledge is that this illness affects people of all ages and gender that find it difficult to point a finger at anything specific. One of the causes may be by the malfunctioning of the autonomic nervous system, which is responsible for a number of body functions. When this is out of gear the normal functions are interrupted causing, the symptoms found in fibromyalgia. It can also be the sleeplessness suffered by these patients causes constant discomfort.

Patients who suffer from firbromyalgia complain of restless sleep, a fact that leaves them feeling tired and with a constant feeling of fatigue due to which stress levels increase significantly. They can be devoid of the restorative sleep, which restores the injured muscles to life thereby leaving them with constant pain that they have to live with. Another possible reason could be that some of these patients are known to have been in an accident or suffered from severe muscle injury that might have triggered the onset of fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia could also be classified as a genetic illness as most of the patients are women and studies have found that patients suffering from Fibromyalgia usually have an immediate family member who also has the same symptoms. Sometimes certain infectious illness due to a particular strain of virus can have affected the central nervous system stopping the cells from producing the neurotransmitters which control the pain. These viral infections can also cause muscle problems and trauma causing the chronic pain that is felt by these patients. The reason could also be due to the increased activity of the immune system. The immune system protects our body from various viral and bacterial infections that can cause diseases. When this immune system is over active it can have a negative effect and can cause inflammation and affect the nervous system causing severe pain. This could be a likely factor contributing to the onset of fibromyalgia.

Infections, sickness or even a traumatic event are known to trigger fibromyalgia in some cases. It also could take abnormal functioning of kidneys, poor diet or hypoglycemia to bring on the onset of fibromyalgia. The one thing that is similar in all reports of fibromyalgia patients is the fact that the symptoms were triggered by a disturbing or traumatic event in their lives, causing certain neurological changes and enhancing the already present abnormality in the person.

Help For Fibromyalgia

Help For Fibromyalgia

Is The Pain & Discomfort of Fibromyalgia Draining Away
Your Life & Energy…?

If So, Then This May Be The
most Critically Important Letter You’ll Ever Read..
.

What causes Fibromyalgia , what are the causes of fibromyalgia, and what are  the fibromyalgia treatment options?

Fibromyalgia is an oft misdiagnosed and generally misunderstood ailment which has a rather diverse set of symptoms, none of which are particularly pleasant. During my research period in preparation for this article I noticed a great deal of inconsistencies regarding the purported ‘facts’ regarding the causes, symptoms and statistics of this syndrome/disease/disorder. Let’s see if we can’t separate opinion and agenda from actual fact.

Theories on Causes

First and foremost no one really knows what causes it. There are numerous studies underway by reputable medical organisations (such as the Nation Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases – NIAMS) which are geared towards establishing, once and for all, the scientific route cause of Fibromyalgia. Numbered amongst the current scientific theories is the inherent genetic factor, but even in this it appears that geneticists are unclear as to which genes may be responsible. It is clear though that just because one of your parents has it, it doesn’t mean that you’ll be on the receiving end later.

Stress is another favourite factor to include on the ‘rap sheet’ when you’re not sure what the cause is, but it could be a factor, if not the primary cause. Other hypothesizes include:

Hypodopaminergia – Which in short means you’re having trouble with your pain receptors.

Abnormal serotonin metabolism – Which means that your serotonin production or control is hampered somehow (Serotonin is a great thing. It makes you happy and also helps with controlling sleep, concentration and pain levels).

Psychological Status – Like stress, depression has a debilitating effect on the human immune system but it seems more logical that both stress and depression are natural symptoms of Fibromyalgia, rather than causes. After all, being in constant pain would make most people rather unhappy so let’s not waste time getting overly technical as too many sources do.

Physical trauma – Here we may be onto something which actually contributes to cause rather than effect. It seems to be generally agreed upon that physical injury (especially to the neck) has been a stable precursor to developing Fibromyalgia. I’m not going to try and quote percentages since, once again, sources differ too widely to be accurate. It does, however, make more sense that if a subject was inclined to (or was already) developing the syndrome, the impact would hasten this.

To mention it once more though, no one yet knows what the actual cause is and it’s entirely possible that a combination of these and other factors are responsible, rather than simply one or two of them.

Symptoms

Most people who read an article on this subject are already aware of the symptoms, because they or a loved one are a sufferer, but let’s go through some of them anyway. Unfortunately the two sensations most related to Fibromyalgia are pain and fatigue. Other indicators may include muscle spasms, weakness, muscle twitches, palpitations, cognitive fogs, joint aches (very much like arthritis), bowel issues and chronic sleep difficulties.

It sounds bad, and it is, but the good news is that help for fibromyalgia is on the way.

There are many homeopathic and chemical options for fatigue treatment as well as ranges for healthy pain medication. There are vitamin supplements and professional physical therapy classes (avoid chiropractors for now, until the syndrome is better understood) that, combined with the right medication, will give you back some quality of life again.

First and foremost if you’re exhibiting several of these symptoms then see you doctor and let him or her know of your suspicions. And if it turns out that you have developed the syndrome then remember that it’s not the end of your world, just the start of wiser management of it and everyday the experts are getting that much closer to a complete solution for Fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia Information

Fibromyalgia Information

Sometimes referred to as “fibro” and “the invisible disease,” fibromyalgia is a very debilitating that can strike anyone. Approximately three to six percent fibromyalgia information, fibromyalgia syndromeof the U.S. population suffers from this condition, which causes sufferers chronic pains and aches. The chronic pain and fatigue associated with this disease causes sufferers a general discomfort and a loss of the ability to function normally.

The earmarks of fibromyalgia are muscular aches and pains, stiffness of joints, and general fatigue. Most who suffer from fibromyalgia are faced with disturbed sleep, making it almost impossible to get a good night’s rest. This only makes the general aches and pains of the disease that much worse.

What are the Symptoms of Fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia causes widespread, chronic pain. No area of the body will remain untouched by the effects of fibro, though the pain is most commonly found in the back, shoulders, neck, and hands. Those who suffer from fibromyalgia have complained of a tingling or burning sensation, and numbness. Many who have been struck with fibro have experienced sensitized skin and nerve pain.

Other symptoms of fibro include impaired memory and concentration, anxiety, depression, dizziness, ringing in the ears, terrible headaches, and irritable bowels and bladder. Fibromyalgia most commonly causes sufferers a general, overall fatigue brought on by general pain, muscle ache, and sleeplessness.

What Causes Fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia is a disease that is the focus of much intense scientific study. There are many theories about the causes of fibro, and in many cases it is the result of some trauma that sufferers have experienced. But there is much still unknown about this horrible disease, and modern medicine has still to pinpoint the cause of fibromyalgia. There is no known method of prevention. Scientific research indicates that some people may be genetically predisposed to fibromyalgia, but nothing has been accurately proven.

Is There a Cure For Fibromyalgia?

There is no known cure for fibromyalgia. In fact, as there is much still unknown about this disease and as there are no accurate tests for fibromyalgia, it is very hard to be diagnosed with this disease. Many doctors remain largely 1000 unfamiliar with the effects of fibro, and many doctors remain steadfast that fibromyalgia is not a true disease or physical ailment.

However, as awareness of fibromyalgia grows, new treatments are being explored. Sufferers of fibro have more options today, and as scientists learn more there is great hope that a true cure will be discovered in the future.

What Treatments are Available To Those Who Suffer From Fibromyalgia?

Over-the-counter pain medications can help to relieve some of the chronic pain caused by fibromyalgia. Most doctors will prescribe pain medication and antidepressants to those who suffer from fibro, and prescribe a light exercise regime to keep muscles loose and limber.

Daily stretching exercises, like yoga, can help alleviate some of the muscle pain associated with this disease. Hollistic methods and medicines are very popular with fibromyalgia sufferers. Proper diet and nutrition are very important to those who suffer from this disease, and there is a focus on eating healthy and treating the body very well.

As fibromyalgia causes sleeping problems, doctors have stressed the importance that those who have been diagnosed with fibro get plenty of healthy sleep. Plenty of sleep will lessen the fatigue and exhaustion that those with fibromyalgia almost constantly feel, and alleviate some of the pain in the muscles and joints.

What’s Next?

With no known cure, and no way to reverse the effects of fibromyalgia, sufferers are forced to live with the disease for the remainder of their lives – or until a cure is found. Treatment must remain strict, and diet and exercise programs followed explicitly. Those who suffer from fibromyalgia will not be able to function at any high-level capacity. They will not be able to engage in strenuous activities, or even to hold a full-time job in most cases. But by maintaining treatment and living inside the realm of their physical capacity, those who suffer from fibro greatly reduce the pain that they experience. When more is understood about this disease, and scientists are able to come up with a comprehensive cure, perhaps fibromyalgia will finally be wiped out.

Fibromyalgia Alternative

Fibromyalgia Alternative Options

The use of extracted essential oils from plants has been around thousands of years, and the health-promoting essences are commonly used for the treatment and relief of many conditions.

fibromyalgia alternative,Fibromyalgia nutrition

Although the label of ‘Aromatherapy’ is a relatively modern one, ancient physicians were extremely skilled in the use of plant oils for medicinal purposes and understood the beneficial effects the essential oils could have on the human body and mind. Ancient physicians were paid to keep their clients healthy, so they prescribed the use of essential oils on a daily basis to help promote the beneficial effects in daily life, this often helped to prevent or lessen the effects of an ailment before it could become troublesome.

Aromatherapy is a very gentle and balancing form of treatment, therefore ordinary people can enjoy the health-promoting use of essential oils at home without the worry of visiting a specialist. However, for more specific conditions such as fibromyalgia, it is recommended that you consult a trained Aromatherapist who can apply their knowledge and skill on a regular basis to relieve the condition. Following up your professional treatment at home with soothing and relaxing essential oils can only help the fibromyalgia sufferer to manage their symptoms.

The wonderful combination of massage and essential oils is very calming and soothing in itself, but you are also taking in the healing and balancing scents through your nose as you breath, resulting in a wholesome balance to your body and mind. This can often result in better digestion, healthier skin, and an overall improvement in your general mood, health and well-being.

Using aromatherapy oils on a regular basis can help to strengthen and support your immune system. Something as simple as applying a few drops of oil to a handkerchief and carrying it with you can help to calm you down, sooth your stress, and generally give you a bit of support and resolve to get through whatever stressful situation you may find yourself facing.

Fibromyalgia is believed to be stress-related, so you can help keep the atmosphere calm, stress-free and peaceful at work and home by placing around your office or home a dish of 1000 ential oil scented wooden balls.

At the end of a really stressful day at work, taking a relaxing bath with the addition of essential oils can go a long way to help relieve symptoms of fibromyalgia, relieving stress, chilling you out and winding you down for a peaceful night’s sleep.

The use of a vaporiser or oil burner can be very beneficial, infusing the air with a large dose of soothing and calming essential oils than using scented wooden balls alone. Please exercise great care when using an oil burner because of the obvious fire risks associated with the use of candles.

Our Neglected Sense of Smell

Living in this modern world, we can see that it is highly dominated by audio and visual stimuli, so we don’t rely as much on our sense of smell as we did many years ago.

When a baby is born, it senses it’s mother and the security she offers by smell, and as a baby doesn’t have fully developed eyesight, smell develops to become the main and keenest of its senses.

We know not to eat a particular fruit, vegetable or other piece of food that doesn’t smell quite right even if sometimes it looks ok, and it is that ‘unpleasant’ smell that creates a reaction in us, making us feel sick, or giving us a headache.

In the same way, inhaling a potent aromatherapy oil can invoke a reaction of cheerfulness, clarity of thought, stimulation or reviving flagging spirits, calming relaxation, or pleasure.

With fibromyalgia sufferers who by nature are often stressed out or feel anxious most of the time, the best sort of essential oils to use are soothing and calming ones that can help ease stress, and in some cases prevent an attack coming on, or lessening the effects.

Easing stress and tension with the following essential oils is recommended, and you can safely use these oils in massage, oil burners or vaporisers, and in your bath at home:
Basil, bergamot, chamomile, clary sage, geranium, lavender, neroli, sweet orange, rose, and ylang ylang.

A suggested blend of relaxing oils for use either in an oil burner, or in your bath at home would be the following: 4 drops of basil, 2 drops of lavender and 3 drops of bergamot.

When you seek out a therapist, make sure you check they are professionally trained and qualified to treat your specific needs. You should feel comfortable and at ease with your therapist and be able to establish a trusting relationship. Try out sessions with different therapists to find the one you are most happy with before committing to a course of aromatherapy massage treatments.

Fibromyalgia Natural Cures

Fibromyalgia was recognized by the American Medical Association as an fibromyalgia natural,Fibromyalgia dietillness and cause of disability in 1987, yet fibromyalgia continues to be difficult to diagnose and treat.

Today with the aid and resources of the internet, along with a network of educated and supportive friends, patients can now be proactive in their diagnostic approach and treatment methods. Changing one’s diet and reducing the chemical stressors on the body that come from eating inappropriate food have been found to be tremendously helpful in relieving the symptoms associated with fibromyalgia.

Get Started! To most effectively benefit, each person needs to experiment to see what works best for their body. The results will vary for each individual. The following tips are a great starting point for easing symptoms and taking control of fibromyalgia:

* Balancing your diet will allow your body to heal and move towards its optimal state. The best way to do this is to avoid foods that contain saturated fats (including ALL junk foods) and to increase the intake of fruits and vegetables. The daily consumption of water is instrumental in the flushing out of your system. These simple changes will allow your body to have a healthy foundation of nutritional support.

* It is important to make sure your diet consists of large amounts of lean protein and fewer carbohydrates. Lean protein (skinless chicken, lean beef and fish) is one of the best ways to fuel your body by keeping your energy levels high and eliminating hypoglycemia. Carbohydrates in small quantities are necessary for the body’s production of insulin, however in excess amounts they contribute to your system storing fat.

* Maintaining good health means avoiding all products that have caffeine in them (coffee, tea, chocolate). This is crucial because caffeine is a diuretic and can exacerbate the IBS symptoms often associated with those suffering from fibromyalgia.

* It has been noted that wheat/gluten and dairy products are important items to eliminate in your diet. You may feel much better after eliminating these items as they are common culprits that intensify symptoms.

* Eliminate alcohol. The combination of pharmaceuticals and alcohol can lead to many unhealthy side effects and in turn make symptoms increasingly wor 1000 se. Some of the prominent issues with alcohol consumption are the increase of stomach, digestive tract, and bowel problems.

* In order to maintain a healthy immune system, you need to reduce or eliminate refined sugars in your diet. By doing so, tests have shown that patients will experience optimal sleep patterns and fewer and less severe symptoms.

Positive Results The reduction of chemical stress on the body can have an overwhelming positive result in managing and reducing the symptoms of fibromyalgia. Altering your diet will not only reduce symptoms, it will allow you to have a better quality of life and be on your way to a healthier and happier tomorrow!

Patients suffering from Fibromyalgia may have one or a Fibromyalgia and stress, Fibromyalgia natural remediescombination of all the following symptoms such as chronic pain, insomnia or sleep disorder, hypersensitivity to touch, chronic fatigue, depression, and irritable bowel syndrome. Some patients have also reported symptoms such as sensitivity to light, noise, odors, certain foods, and medications. Other symptoms reported are temporomandibular joint dysfunctions, morning stiffness, memory loss, dizziness, and dry eyes and mouth.

Fibromyalgia is often referred to as the invisible illness, as no apparent pathology is present. It is believed that psychosocial factors are responsible for this disease. Fibromyalgia is neither a fatal nor a degenerative disease; however it can affect almost all the aspects of a person’s life. The chronic pain associated with the disease is pervasive and persistent and can affect normal social and recreational activity. It has been estimated that about 30% of those affected by this disease are unable to work full time. The United States government recognizes Fibromyalgia as a genuine medical condition and patients can apply for social security disability benefits.

Physicians all over the world consider Fibromyalgia as a functional illness in which the symptoms are real but the medical tests turn out to be normal. Trying to understand Fibromyalgia through the bio-medical model is a futile exercise. Bio-medical model explains the illness as cause and effect and is based on dualism. The bio-medical model considers the mind and body as separate.

The reality is in fact contrary to this belief and most diseases like Fibromyalgia need to be understood through the bio-psychosocial-spiritual model. It is now well accepted that Fibromyalgia needs to be addressed after addressing, understanding, and accepting the inter-dependence of the 1000 mind, body and the spirit. Factors such as genetics, environment and the influence of the conscious and unconscious mind also play an important role in patients developing Fibromyalgia.

The root causes of Fibromyalgia are not in the head but in the mind and body. The brain is connected to the body by the spinal cord through the autonomic nervous system. Small protein molecules in the neuropeptide messenger system circulate in the body and carry messages back and forth between the body and the brain and vice versa. Hence, we need to look at the mind and the body to really understand Fibromyalgia and not through the bio-medical model. There is a direct relationship between stress and the symptoms of Fibromyalgia.

Stress is the perception of psychological or physical threat and the perception of being unable to deal with it. Two important things about stress need to be kept in mind. First, stress can occur at the unconscious level and the individual may be unaware that he or she is under stress from a cognitive perspective. Second, stress is always perceptual. Certain individuals may find a situation extremely stressful while others may not be affected by it.

Although there are a number of factors that are responsible for Fibromyalgia, one common factor in all patients suffering from Fibromyalgia is ‘STRESS’. Another factor commonly associated with Fibromyalgia is sleep disorder or insomnia. It is still not clear whether these two factors cause Fibromyalgia or vice versa.

It is important that all concerned understand and accept connection between the mind and the body. Treatment and healing are two different processes. Treatment involves the application of something external and something given orally or intravenously, but healing happens from within. Patients should be encouraged to use their own power to heal themselves. It is a fact that Neuropeptides can be switched off and on through relaxation, exercise, diet, sleep, belief, and medication.

A change in lifestyle, improved eating habits, regular exercise, sleep and medication such as anti-depressants taken under medical supervision are beneficial for managing Fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia Muscle Pain

Fibromyalgia Muscle Pain Help

When every muscle seems to be shouting out in pain, tender places painful when touched, you also feel tired as if lacking energy and do not get enough Fibromyalgia Muscle Painsleep; you may well be experiencing symptoms of Fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia is often a medical condition characterized by chronic pain in your muscles, ligaments and tendons, and also fatigue and multiple tender points. Tender points are parts in your body where even little pressure may cause pain. They are found on the neck, shoulders, back, hips, arms, and legs that might hurt with pressure. More women than men are affected with fibromyalgia, and it shows up in people of every age group. It is known by other names such as Fibrositis, chronic muscle pain syndrome Psychogenic rheumatism and tension Myalgias.

Signs and symptoms may vary depending on the severity of the condition. In some cases, symptoms will probably never disappear completely. However, it is reassuring to learn that fibromyalgia is not progressive or life-threatening. There are available treatments and self-care procedures which can improve the condition and one’s overall health.

Signs and Symptoms

Many factors can impact symptoms of fibromyalgia for example the weather, stress, exercise as well as the time of day. Typical signs and symptoms consist of:

Widespread pain~ When pressure is applied in specific areas of your body including the back of your head, upper back and neck, upper chest, elbows, hips and knees, pain together with stiffness can often be felt and may even persist for many months.

Fatigue and sleep disturbances ~ People who suffer from this condition often awaken tired and unrefreshed regardless of getting enough sleep. Based on several scientific studies this kind of sleep issue is caused by a sleep disorder where deep sleep is often disrupted by bursts of brain activity much like wakefulness therefore, lacking the deep restorative healing stage of sleep. Muscle spasms in your hip and legs may also be associated with fibromyalgia.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) ~ Constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain and bloating associated with IBS is common in people with fibromyalgia.

Headaches and facial pain ~ Symptoms of headaches and facial pain could be related to the tenderness or stiffness w 1000 ithin the neck and shoulders.

Heightened sensitivity ~ Individuals with fibromyalgia are usually sensitive to odors, noises, bright lights and to the touch.

Other typical signs and symptoms may include:

Depression

Numbness or tingling sensations in the hands and feet (paresthesia)

Difficulty concentrating

Mood changes

Chest pain

Dry eyes, skin and mouth

Painful menstrual periods

Lightheadedness

Anxiety

Possible Causes

There is no known cause of fibromyalgia. Recent findings focus around a theory called “central sensitization” which states that people with fibromyalgia have a lower threshold for pain due to increased sensitivity from the brain to pain signals. For this reason those with fibromyalgia appear to overreact each time slight pressure is applied to a certain part of the body which would not hurt if done to a person in normal condition. However, what initiates this process of central sensitization still baffle most research experts. Other theories regarding the cause of fibromyalgia include:

Sleep disturbances – Some researchers suggest that disturbed sleep patterns may be a cause instead of merely a symptom of fibromyalgia.

Injury – Accidents that create injuries or trauma, particularly in the upper spinal region, which affect the central nervous system may trigger the development of fibromyalgia.

Infection – Some researchers believe a viral or bacterial infection may trigger fibromyalgia.

Abnormalities of the autonomic (sympathetic) nervous system – When the sympathetic nervous system fails to function normally during nighttime, it leads to fatigue, stiffness, dizziness and other signs and symptoms linked to the condition. The sympathetic nervous system is part of the autonomic nervous system which controls involuntary bodily functions for example heart rate, blood vessel contraction, sweating, salivary flow and intestinal movements.

Changes in muscle metabolism – A decreased blood flow to muscles may contribute to decreased strength and fatigue. Such differences in metabolism and abnormalities in the hormonal substance which influences the activity of nerves are likely involved.

Psychological stress and hormonal changes can also be possible causes of fibromyalgia.

Seek Medical Advice

If you experience general aching or widespread pain that lasts several months and is associated with fatigue, you should see your doctor. Many of the symptoms of fibromyalgia are similar to other diseases for example low thyroid hormone production (hypothyroidism), polymyalgia rheumatica, neuropathies, lupus, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Only your doctor can inform you if any of these other conditions may be causing such symptoms.

Fibromyalgia is not progressive and does not lead to other serious conditions or diseases. However, it can cause pain, depression and lack of sleep. These problems can hinder your ability to function at home or on the job, or maintain close family or personal relationships. Always seek Medical Advice.

Understanding Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia

* What is fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia, also sometimes called Fibromyalgia Syndrome, Fibromyositis, Fibrositis, or Myofascial pain syndrome, is a continual disorder characterized by extensive musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, tenderness in contained areas of the neck, spine, shoulders, and hips sometimes referred to as multiple tender points or pressure points. It may cause sleep disorders, morning firmness, irritable bowel syndrome and nervousness.

* What are the symptoms of fibromyalgia?

Though the symptoms of fibromyalgia can be unbearable, they are not serious. Symptoms may differ, depending on stress level, physical action, time of day, and the weather.

Pain is the main symptom, found in almost 100 percent of cases, particularly, pain and tenderness in some areas of the body when pressure is applied.

Fibromyalgia is a constant condition and symptoms may be continuous or irregular for years. Some of the most common symptoms of fibromyalgia consist of:

Sleep problems
Gastrointestinal such as abdominal pain, bloating and constipation
Lack of feeling or irritations
Unrelieved headaches
Sharp sensitivity to odors, noises, bright lights, different foods, medication and
Dysmenorrhea and painful sexual contact
Repeated urination, strong urge to urinate, and painful urination
Fast or irregular heart rate, and breathlessness
Bulging sensation in the hands and feet, although swelling is not visible

* Are there different forms of fibromyalgia?

Yes, there are actually different forms of fibromyaligia. These forms are categorized according to the symptoms a person experiences. They are:

Post traumatic – there is a record of a single incident such as a car accident the pre-dates the pain syndrome. The accident commonly is an effect of an intense tremor and wounding of spinal muscles. Patients first complain of headaches and afterwards complain of arm or leg stiffness or itchiness or pain.

Repetitive Traumatic – The idea of this is that a repeated injury can add up to the symptoms of fibromyalgia.

Mood related fibromyalgia – usually, most fibromyalgics suffer this syndrome especially if they are 1000 suffering from extreme anxiety and pain. As a result, to this, fibromyalgics develop mood disorders such as depression.

Hormonal abnormalities such as hyperthyroidism – this commonly cause enlarged muscle tension, anxiety and sleep disorder (a perfect ingredient indicative of fibromyalgia).

* What causes fibromyalgia?

The causes for fibromyalgia are not identified. The condition creates unclear signs and symptoms connected with reduced blood flow to some parts of the brain and improved amounts of substance P believed to be a sensory neurotransmitter included in the message of pain, touch and temperature from the body to brain.

However, researches have found some other potential causes, includes the:

Autonomic malfunctioning of the nervous system
Constant sleep problems
Psychological strain or distress
Malfunctioning of the immune or endocrine system
Upper spinal cord damage
Viral or bacterial infection underwent

* Is fibromyalgia a real disease or just in my head?

Patients with fibromyalgias know that the pain is real and not just a fake. Fibromyalgia specialits also know their patients are experiencing real symptoms.

In addition, there is now evidence that fibromyalgia patients’ intense feeling of pain is not just an illusion or imagination.

It is now probable to look at the brain and see accurately where it is active. This thorough brain scan is referred to as functional magnetic resonance imaging. There is no escaping the fact that there is malfunctioning sensory activity going on in the brain when Fibromyalgics undergo this series of brain scans.

Fibromyalgia Disease

Fibromyalgia Disease

Fibromyalgia is a medical condition that often causes weakness and fatigue along with the common symptom of pain. Fibromyalgia is closely related to fibromyalgia neck pain, information on fibromyalgiachronic fatigue syndrome as well. So what is the connection between these conditions and age? Where is it I am going with this? Well, studies show that age may play a factor in Fibromyalgia.

So why is this? Well, there is a big thing called sleep. Sleep is often disturbed in people with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. There are different stages of sleep that we cycle through each night. The deepest cycle of sleep is when the body heals itself from the damage and wear and tear from the day. When sleep is disrupted or disturbed, this cycle is often not reached. This, in turn, means the healing is not done and the body’s ability to recover from the day’s work is thwarted. So, people with Fibromyalgia may experience a mental fog, known as fibro fog, and have fatigue, pain in muscles and tissues, etc.

So let’s make the age connection. It is common knowledge that 90% of those diagnosed with fibromyalgia are women. It is also pretty well known that most people are diagnosed with fibromyalgia between the ages of 20 and 50. However, recent studies show there is a shift in these numbers. Many more people are being diagnosed after the age of 50 now and the numbers continue to rise.

It seems as though the significance of age in patients is rather debatable. Some in the medical community think it is significant and others do not. The reason that some people are diagnosed with it later in life could be due to the fact that a lot in the medical community don’t think of Fibromyalgia as a real condition. It could be that the body just wears down considerably more as we age and pain progresses. It may also be the fact that it takes time to rule out all other diseases before coming to a fibromyalgia diagnosis.

Sleep cycles change as we age and so does disease. There is a definite suggestion that age may play a factor in fibromyalgia. It is figuring out the significance of what this means to fibromyalgia and treatment in future years that matters. One thing from the studies that we are certain is that as we age our body goes throu 1000 gh important changes that may provide us some links and answers to this debilitating condition.

Fibromyalgia Symptoms

Symptoms Of Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is associated with the pain in the muscles, tendons and ligaments. The syndrome of fibromyalgia is related with arthritis. Usually it is characterized by generalized or widespread tenderness, muscular pain and fatigue. As fibromyalgia is a set of symptoms and signs which occur together, so it is considered as syndrome. It is a condition in which there is a stiffness and pain around the joints as well as in bone and muscles. Fibromyalgia is not associated with any inflammation. Usually fibromyalgia is not considered to be a type of arthritis but it is related with a form of soft-tissue rheumatism.

Yet the actual cause of fibromyalgia is unknown. But according to some people it is the pain which is caused by abnormal sensory processing in the central nervous system. The other main causes of fibromyalgia are cytokine function which is abnormal, decreased level of tryptophan and serotonin, reduced quantity of flow of blood to the thalamus region of the brain, in the spinal cord increased level of substance P (nerve sensitivity to pain is increased by this chemical) and imbalance of hormones in hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis.

Some of the major symptoms of fibromyalgia are headaches, irritable bladder, depression or anxiety, change in skin color, sensitivity to noise and temperature, pain in pelvic region, severe fatigue, memory and cognitive problem, restless leg syndrome and temporomandibular joint disorder. Though, these symptoms may vary according to the condition.

The problem of fibromyalgia may be treated naturally also. Increase the intake of high- fiber diet which includes plenty of raw and steamed vegetables. So make a habit to maximize your intake of greens. Make a habit of taking small meals at equal intervals instead of taking one large meals. Increase the intake of pure water and plentiful of liquids as they are helpful in flushing out toxins. You can also go for herbal teas and fresh juices. Restrict the intake of alcohol, caffeine and sugar as these substances increases the pain in the muscle and also enhances fatigue. Due to these problems one can have interference with normal sleep patterns. Alfalfa contains flavonoids, alkaloids, vitamins, amino acids, trace elements, minerals, coumarins, sterols and saponins 1000 . These elements help the Alfalfa to control the pain so it is used in the treatment of fibromyalgia. Omega-3 fatty acids act as an anti-inflammatory agent. So the substances like oils of fatty acid, flax seed etc are very effective in the treatment of fibromyalgia as they contain omega-3 fatty acid.

Fibromyalgia Diagnosis

The identifications of the condition can be found and it can be diagnosed the right way. This can probably make us live briskly. Fibromyalgia is a state that none of us have known completely till now

There might be so many pains and problems in every part of the body . Doctor may do a lot of tests and might not be able to detect anything clearly. If you have felt this, it’s definitely fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread pain in your muscles, ligaments and tendons, as well as fatigue and multiple tender points (places on your body where slight pressure causes pain).

If you have arthritis then this condition may come easily. Increasing the chances of fibromyalgia is most commonly found in women and this occurs in the middle ages. It is also heredity and family related.

The identifications of the conditions change based on the time, weather and body conditions. The condition called tender points is felt when strong pressure id felt in certain parts of the body. Back of the head, shoulder, hip area and knees are some of the parts that get affected.

Even though fibromyalgia isn’t a progressive condition and doesn’t lead to other diseases or conditions, it can lead to other symptoms. These symptoms include lack of sleep, depression, and pain. These symptoms have the tendency to interfere with your ability to function at work and home. The fact that the condition is misunderstood can be frustrating.

What Is Fibromyalgia?

What Is Fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia, also called Fibrositis, is a chronic pain and fatigue condition Causes Of Fibromyalgia, Fibromyalgia treatmentthat can cause soreness, stiffness, and tenderness in the muscles, tendons, and joints. Although a fairly common muscle disorder, what causes the onset of the syndrome is still unknown. It does differ from numerous rheumatic conditions because, despite debilitating pain in the muscles ligaments and tendons, most patients who suffer from it do not develop any deformities as a result of their illness.

The musculoskeletal pain is very real however, and can also be accompanied by fatigue, chest pain, headache, fever, abdominal pain, insomnia, swollen lymph nodes, irritable bowel syndrome and depression.

What are the symptoms of Fibromyalgia?
Increased sensitivity to pain is one of the primary symptoms of Fibromyalgia with roughly 90 percent of people with fibromyalgia describing an accompanying fatigue. This extreme tiredness is similar to what people with Chronic Fatigue syndrome experience. The pain is generally felt all over, but can start (and is usually worse) in the neck and the upper part of the back.
The pain is most often times described as burning, radiating, gnawing, sore, stiff, and aching and can vary with stress levels and sleep patterns. Many victims say that they almost always feel some degree of pain, and some can even feel as if they have a constant, persistent flu.
The aches and pains of fibromyalgia affect many of the muscles around the body, although not necessarily all at the same time, and often times can’t be controlled with ordinary painkillers.

What are the causes of Fibromyalgia?
Although no one root cause can be attributed to Fibromyalgia, some researchers believe that the development of the condition can be linked to an event like a car accident or some other a physical or emotional trauma. Others think that repetitive injuries are the contributing factor. Another mystery is that, while some people with rheumatoid arthritis or lupus may develop Fibromyalgia, others appear to obtain it spontaneously.
There is even some speculation as to a tie in to a problem with the central nervous system. Another theory is that the production of hormones, essential for maintenance of the body’s cells, is reduced by abnormal sleep rhythms.

Will Painwave X4000 help with pain from Fibromyalgia?
Yes! The Painwave X4000 is a 1000 n astounding invention that can alleviate the pain associated with Fibromyalgia, and best of all, it is drug free and non-invasive! How can it do this? Painwave X400 uses a technologically advanced system that works with the human body’s own bioelectromagnetic ecosystem. Pain pills, creams and patches will only cover up the pain, but the Painwave X4000 works with, and not against, the body own natural resources. Because of this, the Painwave X4000 has little to no side effects. To use it, you only need to move the unit in a gentle, circular motion over the inflamed area and pain is gone! In time, the Painwave X4000 may even stimulate circulation in the lymphatic system and create greater cell activity. All this will make the unit highly effective at easing the discomforts so often associated with Fibromyalgia.
